Bookers Soul Food came to Wake Hustle Grind for a website that captured the warmth of the restaurant and made it simple for customers to see the menu, place orders, and support the mission behind the brand.
We needed to translate the in-restaurant experience — soul food, hospitality, community — into a digital space that worked just as well on a phone screen as it did on a laptop.
The visual direction combined rich food photography with earthy tones, bold typography, and a menu-first hierarchy. Every section pushes visitors toward one clear action: order, visit, or learn about the impact.
We audited existing content, restructured the sitemap around customer intent, designed each section around real photography, and built the site to load fast on mobile where most food traffic actually comes from.

The final website features a menu-driven homepage, a location and hours section, an impact and story page, and a mobile-optimized ordering flow that reduces friction for hungry customers.
The design pairs appetite-driving photography with clear calls-to-action so customers never wonder where to click next. It also positions Bookers as a community-first brand, not just another restaurant listing.
A well-designed restaurant site turns walk-by curiosity into orders and repeat customers. It gives Bookers a professional online presence that supports catering, community partnerships, and long-term brand equity.
